Resolved Question: How do I make a web page https?
I am trying to setup a pay now button for paypal and I am trying to customize the look of the page with a graphic. Paypal is telling me to host my custom graphic on a secure (HTTPS) page. I planned on putting the graphic in a folder on my website, but am unsure how to make that particular folder https. Can someone help me on how to place a jpg file into a secure (HTTPS) folder? Well, here's the deal: I need to place a custom graphic I made into a secure folder, so that I can point paypal to it so it can load it ontop the pay now page they have for the product I am selling. they say that unless the image is on a secure site, people will receive the THERE ARE SECURE AND NON SECURE IMAGES message. So I just need to make a singular folder secure (If possible) and load the custom graphics into it, then point paypal to it.

Resolved Question: How can I pay Yahoo! using my PayPal account?
I'm buying a Web Hosting Package for Yahoo! and when I ordered the package I saw I can only pay by entering my credit/debit card details like credit card number, expiry date, last 3 digits on the back of the card and its type. But I don't want to use this method. I either want to buy thru payPal or cheque. How can I do that? Your help would be highly appreciated if it works. Thanks and God bless you. Waiting... for your answer.

I'm looking at making a website with a members area that users would subscribe to receive access to. I've trawled the internet and can't find anything I like - looking for easy software to manage this for me. The sort of thing with paypal integration :D Preferably free. With my web host, I can password protect directories, so its really just a matter of getting the usernames and passwords for the directory to people when they pay for a subscription. Resolved Question: Need an affordable email host that supports multiple domain names?
I am looking for an email host that can support multiple domains. I have 75 domain names and need 5 email accounts each. I want to keep my domain name and web hosting but outsource the emails. I need smtp with at least 200 relays each account. I want to be able to receive a package like godaddy where you receive up to 100 accounts and 2gb and you can allocate how you want to and set the mx and cname records. However it doesn't work if you have a godaddy account. So I'm looking for a solution similar to what godaddy offers. I would be willing to pay $10 paypal to whoever has a good service provider that is reliable and meets these needs.

Resolved Question: What Is The Difference Between Web Creation Software and Shopping Cart Software? Please help.?
I have been researching web creation software and shopping cart software. According to TopTenReviews.com, Web Easy Professional is the top rated website creation software. Whereas, Shopsite Pro is the top rated shopping cart software. First off, what is the difference? Second, I am looking to create a website where I can sell my products. My knowledge of html is limited. I am looking to create a website that has a home page, then links to contact information, products, an about us page, a link in the top corner for a shopping cart, etc. I will also have to charge sales tax for every sales and would like to be able to accept more than just PayPal. I want to be able to accept every credit cards. I'm at a little of a loss at where to start and as to which software would be unnecessary to purchase. I would hate to buy software that I wouldn't even end up needing. Any suggestions would be helpful!! Thank you so much. P.S. I originally looked into doing a flash web site/cart but it would be too costly to have designed by a professional. I would like to be able to have full control over the design, etc. So paying someone to design my site is out of the question. Also, I’m currently using hosting with GoDaddy and I wasn’t too glad with their Website Tonight program. It was too slow and wasn’t very efficient when it came down to it. Again, thanks in advance.

Resolved Question: Need recommendations for web site building software?
Hi, I have been using FrontPage since 2003. I am getting ready to re-do our 2 website stores and found that since MS has discontinued FP my host will not continue to support in a yr or 2. Do not want to have to redo then. I need something that has no 'page limit' as we need a lot of pages. I use paypal buttons and have shopping cart, but am not using the cart as we no longer accept credit cards. I need something simple like FrontPage and hopefully not too pricey - free would even be better! I don't know much HTML and don't have time to learn it, so has to be something simple. I have a Dell with 144 gig hd and 1000 mgs of ram and run winxp pro. Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated. TIA!

Resolved Question: Small Translation Project (English>Japanese)- will pay or trade?
I'm working on a film project, and need some very minor translations done. It's only about 3-5 minutes long (will be completed within a week), but there are only a few spoken words in the entire film. I'm choosing to have it in Japanese for a few reasons: Miyazaki heavily influenced my art and my career goals, as did the artists who've worked in the Japanese horror genre, so this is somewhat of a tribute to them; as well, I want this film to talk for itself and not require the use of words to tell a story- however, there are certain parts where the characters do talk, but I don't want the distraction of familiar words for the audience. If anyone would be willing to help me, I'm willing to pay by PayPal (please let me know what you ask), or offer free hosting or web design. You can add me on MSN SOMNILOCUSatGMAILdotCOM if you're interested.

Resolved Question: I need help ASAP about setting up a website for my new small business...?
Hi everyone! I am launching a new business in September in which I will offer drama classes to kids ages 5-12. With launching this business, I would like a website so parents can register kids, pay monthly fees, find information on the program, etc. However, I am wondering what the best web hosting site is to use. I am not a programmer by any means, so this is new territory for me. Some have suggested Yahoo tiny Business Solutions, but what else is out there? I need good customer support, decent web design templates (nothing too "boring" or "cookie-cutter"), and the option to have someone pay money via credit card (maybe Paypal?). So, anyway...please help. I don't want to spend a ton of money, but I am willing to pay for the right service. HELP PLEASE! :) Melissa

Resolved Question: Web design , Coping html ?
hi , im making a site and initially it was going to be hosted on mrsite.com but now i've decided to make one myself and "ftp" it. One of the pages is an online store (paypal one) and im wondering whether i can simply put the store together on mrsite and copy the html code into my dreamweaver one (im aware of files links being lost i.e. images etc). The reason is because they have an easier code builder for paypal and it's secure and i really dont fancy creating the buttons and codes from paypal as it will take too much time together with the fact that i have to encrypt them. Are there any risks from simply coping and pasting, also could the same theory be used for a guestbook ? and is it legal etc (nb: the subscription belongs to me on mrsite) thx in advance With regards to Mr Site, they have an interface for the code builder and techinically "i" would be the one building the code by clicking etc surely ? Equally permission to use the feature is included in the subscription. Still illegal ? The site will be hosted on mrsite too

Resolved Question: Paypal recurring payments, can customer be charged in spite of cancellation?
I was in shopping cart of web hosting site and started through checkout with Paypal. I got to part where you set up a billing agreement and then I decided to cease and logged immediately into Paypal and canceled the reoccurring payment. I did this because although a search of Better Business Bureau website listed this company as satisfactory, I decided to open a new browser tab and check Rip-Off reports.com, which had extensive complaints from customers about this companies practices. My question is can this company still collect any money from my Paypal account even though I canceled this subscription? A note, the subscription amount showed $0.00 because I had not gotten to the screen where you confirm your purchase amounts and/or change funding options etc.

Resolved Question: Where can I possibly setup & create a free website to market and advertise an online business?
Yahoo charges about $34.95/year and stores only 1 email, versus $9.95/month + $25.00 startup fee, but will store up to 10 emails. However, if I use Web Hosting ~ I'd have to pay $11.95/month ($25 startup fee waived) but I'll be able to store up to 1000 business emails. What I'm really looking for is a way to create a business website with at least a tiny or no startup fee that could filter into Amazon and Ebay and vice versa just like my PayPal account (into Ebay). Is that a possibility? Wonderful! I like every your answers. In fact, I'm actually checking out each of the website that you've every suggested so far. Thanks a bunch!

Because the PayPal payment middle is a secure area, we recommend that you place your logo image in an SSL-protected folder of your web site. If your logo image is not hosted in a secure subdirectory, your customer's browser will likely display a message warning that some elements in the PayPal payment page are insecure — which could dissuade your customer from completing the transaction. SSL protection is available only to users with Merchant Solutions or Web Hosting plans. I did set up the subdirectory, but coudn't do the over could you help.
